Ary S. Graça F° as the fourth president of the sport’s
governing body on 21 September.
It was déjà vu in Doha where the fourth
edition of the FIVB Men’s Club World Championship in
Qatar ended with the fourth triumph for Italy’s Trentino
Diatec, final winners against Sada Cruzeiro. Solly’s
Nestlé of Brazil took the women’s title (see page 18).
Halifax hosted the FIVB Beach Volleyball
SWATCH Junior World Championships for the second
year running and Switzerland’s Nina Betschart won
gold once more in the girls’ event, this time alongside
