Once more Stare Jablonki lived up to its reputation of class
and professionalism. Having grown from a men’s-only Open in
2004
to one of the most popular Grand Slams on the FIVB Beach
Volleyball World Tour, Stare Jablonki embraced the ninth FIVB
Beach Volleyball World Championships and fans flocked to the
venue to fill the 9,000-capacity centre court for the women’s
and men’s gold medal matches. With the sun shining overhead,
the crowd roared on two new sets of world champions, while
the venue provided a spectacular backdrop that will live long
in the memories of players and spectators alike.
