FIVB Congress gives vote
of confidence to President Acosta and rejects charges
against him |
 |
Porto, Portugal, May 12, 2004 – The FIVB Congress gave a vote of
confidence to its President Dr. Rubén Acosta and re-approved the
accounts for 2000/1.
Delegates heard and approved an analysis and explanation of the
facts at the core of misleading claims made by the expelled
former Argentinean President Mario Goijman.
Delegates accepted that the FIVB had introduced a new way of
presenting accounts and acquisition commissions in the interests
of greater transparency, and that the expelled member’s claims
about so-called “hidden commissions” on “falsified accounts”
were wrong. |
