With the average of around 200 cm, the Australian started of with a dramatically performance to put the 8-6 lead in the opening set. The Czech snatched the comfortable set 25-18.
The Czech took command but the Aussie looked good from the beginning of the fourth set. However, the Czech stormed back to lead 12-9. Aussie captain, Christensen was on the bench to get some medical treatment. The Czechs Vesely played the key role in moving the team to 16-13. The Aussie tried hard to come back but the Czech gave everything to this match. The Czech finally won the crucial set 25- 19 in a thrilling match.
