Iran coach Naser Shahnazi Naser: “it was an interesting match, with a high level because Cuba is a great team. I think that if Ali Nodouzpoor hadn’t been injured, maybe the match would have changed. Today we played at our level, not as we did against Argentina, and I hope the next one will be better again.”

Cuba coach Rodolfo Sanchez: “We knew it would be a tough match because for Iran it was their last chance to win. The difference was the mental approach to the match, and during difficult moments. Now we have to think about the match against Serbia, because up to now every match will be like a final, all the teams want to win. Tomorrow I think it will be important the mentality of the players, we have to think that we want to win, and do it.”
