Congo captain Maxime Kasadi: “I think the match was quite positive for us, but we have to work a lot on defence. If we had played better, maybe it wouldn’t have finished this way.”

Congo coach J.C. Kinsama Eanga: “We had an easy attack, and our defense had to be better, but we didn’t expect to win that match, because we have to improve a lot again.”

Russia captain Konstantin Osipov: “Congo has to work on some points, defence for example, that gave us a lot of points at the end of the first set. Now we have to focus on the next match, the semifinal.”

Russia coach Andrej Kukushkin: “We have started playing bad, but during the first set we improved our spikes and blocks, and after that our play became better. Tomorrow the team will have a rest and then work on tactics for the semifinal”.
