Germany head coach: "We next play Slovakia. We have nowhere to go but up. We have to beat them."

Tunisia head coach Ben Kaid Slim: “We had a problem on playing at the net. My players are not that tall. It’s very difficult to play the much taller rivals. Germany also served well and we have no match against their attack game. We need more experience. The second set was the worst when my players made too many mistakes. We next take on the USA, I think we still have something more to learn. I hope my players will do their best. My target in the championship now is to finish 15th.”

Captain Maroua Boughanmi: “We did our best. We wanted to win at least one or two sets, but we could not do that. The German players are very tall. We will try again in the next match against the USA.”

Germany head coach Stefan Brauer: “I fielded substitutions today to gain more competition experience. We need them for more important match against Slovakia the following day. If you won 3-0, I’m sure it satisfied you. I fielded substitutions in order that they can learn good basics from the world-class championship. Against Slovakia, we have nowhere to go but up. We have to beat them. It’s a crucial match.”

Captain Anna Hoja: “I’m glad to get a chance to play in the match against Tunisia. I did my best in the match.”
