Egyptian head coach Badrawy Hesham: "We played a poor match. My players' reception did not live up to my expectation."

Mexico head coach Ricardo de Jesus Nar: “It’s good to win our second match in the championship. I think Egypt played well, with good defence. My girls also played well, trying to make their best for every point and refrain from making any unforced mistake. We next take on Dominican Republic. It must be a tough match as the Dominicans are one of the strong teams to be reckoned with. Although we can’t make it to the top eight round, our target now is to do our best to finish ninth place in the championship.”

Captain Xitlali Herrera: “I’m very happy to win. In the first set, it seemed we did not play well, but we just came back fast with an improved form. No one is the best player in my team. To win, we need everyone. We work as a teamwork. That’s why the result came out with the win.”

Egypt head coach Badrawy Hesham: “We played a poor match. My girls’ reception did not live up to my expectation. Mexico is a very strong team. In the second set, we played bad as my assistant coach Tahani Hussein changed too many players. Additionally, my players also played inconsistently. We have to gain more competition experiences.”
