Boys' Youth World
Championship 2011.
Here is how the 16 teams booked their tickets to Argentina:
As hosts of the competition, Argentina qualified automatically for the
Championship.
The remaining teams qualified thanks to the Continental
Championships:
- Tunisia and Egypt won the two qualifying places available at the 2010 Youth African Championship.
- Iran, China and Korea won the three qualifying places available at the 2010 Youth Asian Championship.
- Cuba, USA and Puerto Rico won the three qualifying places available at
the 2010 Youth NORCECA Championship.
- Brazil won the one qualifying place available at the 2010 Junior South American Championship
and joined hosts Argentina.
- Serbia, France, Russia, Bulgaria, Spain and Greece won the six
qualifying places available at the 2011 CEV Youth Volleyball Boys’
European Championship.

Tunisia score gold at African Youth Champs
September 23, 2010 – Tunisia picked up the gold medal at the
2010 Boys' Youth African Nations Championship after finishing the
round-robin tournament unbeaten in Cape Town, South Africa on Monday
while Egypt secured silver and Morocco clinched bronze.

Iran clinch gold and tickets to YOG and Youth World Champs at Asian Boys’ Championship
May 21, 2010 – Iran defended their Asian Youth Boys’ Volleyball Championship title and secured their place at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games and the FIVB Volleyball Boys' Youth World Championship 2011 with a 3-2 (25-17, 26-28, 28-26,22-25,15-7) victory over China in the final.

Serbia take European boys' crown as six qualify for world champs
April 24, 2011 – For the first time in their history, Serbia’s boys’ team sealed the CEV Youth Volleyball Boys’ European Championship after proving too good for a young and talented French team, clinching a 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 25-17, 17-25, 15-6) in Ankara, Turkey on Sunday as Russia took bronze with a convincing 3-1 win over Bulgaria (25-19, 18-25, 25-20, 25-21).

Youth Olympic Games and the FIVB Volelyball Boys' Youth World
Championship 2011 with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-22) victory over
USA as the NORCECA Continental Boys’ Youth Championship concluded

Argentina and Brazil qualify for FIVB Boys' Youth World Championship 2011
April 20, 2010 - Argentina stormed to victory in the Boys’ Youth South American Championship last Friday in La Guaira, Venezuela, beating the host side 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-19) in their final match, ending the tournament unbeaten without dropping a single set.
