Brazil wanted to win this duel, and it has highlighted the 3-1 (22-25, 25-16, 25-13, 25-15) against France also evident. If the team of coach Percy Oncken may not even play on the final day of the World Championship in Jesolo between the best eight teams, then at least in the match for ninth place.

In the first set the French were still concentrated. While the Brazilians made more points (14) by attacks, which come solely Lucarelli Ricardo five.
