Easy task for the U.S. team |

Duel above the net |
Was perfectly made after the hard task against Algeria on Tuesday, when
the U.S. team only after five sets victory, it ended in the second
match in pool H for the team by coach Andy Read much easier against
Egypt.
Already in the first set of the superiority of the U.S. in all areas
was clear. Egypt get only eight points of attack and one per service.
The U.S. players were much better placed on this day: sixteen points in
the attack, four aces and two points per block, so in 23 minutes after
they had the set in their account. By 25-21 they won the set.
Similarly, the duel went in the second set. Egypt seemed more
distracted and showed too little resistance. This time, the record in
terms of attack was even more clearly: 16 again for the U.S., only six
of Egypt's attacker. After 22 minutes the U.S. boys also had this set
(25-16) chosen for themselves.
That Egypt will have to wait even after the third set further to his
first victory at the World Championship, was caused by a still much
better motivated US-Team in set three. In addition to 14 points of
attack, and four per block now added another three by aces. The team of
Andy Read finished the set with 25-18. Symptomatic of the last rally:
service Egypt, the receive of the U.S. boys brings the ball right back
into the field of the Egyptians and then the ball falls to the ground.
