Bulgaria's head coach Silvano Prandi says: "We have to expect a hard time tomorrow"

Peter Blange duting a time out: are you here to watch or play?
Bulgaria's coach Silvano Prandi: "We are glad about today's victory. We are satisfied with the result and, in general, with the play. The first two sets we were on the level but we will start tomorrow from the third set. We have to improve our play a little bit if we want to win. I know very well Peter and his team and I believe we have to work hard this night as to be ready for tomorrow."

Bulgaria's captain Vladimir Nikolov: "I am extremely satisfied with this victory. It was an important match and we won it with a good difference. It is not really a difference in the forces though. We are better than the Netherlands but not that much. We will face a tough match tomorrow and we must give our best to win."

The Netherlands' coach Peter Blange: "Congratulations to Bulgaria. They played an excellent match today. I think we came to watch then to play, especially in the first set. We were not prepared for this match. It was difficult to change the rhythm during the match but we did it partually in the third set. But facing Bulgaria without serve, block and side outs - it is impossible. I hope we will give them a hard time tomorrow."

The Netherlands' captain Rob Bontje: "It was a difficult match and we did not show what we can do. The start was awful and we came back for good at the third set but it was too late. Hopefully tomorrow we can do better."
