U.S., Finland coaches both happy with teams

Finland's captain Jukka Lehtonen, left, addresses the media as his coach, Mauro Berutto, listens in.

Finland's captain Jukka Lehtonen: “Congratulations to the U.S. team. I was really satisfied with the way we played. I thought it was a good match with good rallies, long rallies. It was entertaining Volleyball.”

U.S. middle blocker David Lee: “I thought we were much stronger tonight. We played with more emotion. The Finnish team gave a great showing. I thought tonight was a step in the right direction while last night was a step in the wrong one.”

Finland's coach Mauro Berutto: “I was really satisfied with what I saw from my team. I really need to thank my players. It is not easy to come back with the same attitude the second night.”

U.S. coach Alan Knipe: “On our side of the net we were concerned with what we could control. We had 24 hours to change our mindset (from Friday) and we did that. I thought it was important that we improve in transition and we did that.”
