U.S. Captain Reid Priddy says: "Finland outplayed us"

Finland's head coach Mauro Berruto talks to the press as U.S. Head Coach Alan Knipe reviews match statistics.

U.S. Captain William “Reid” Priddy: “Finland outplayed us. I can’t point to one specific phase of the game. We didn’t pass as well as we can. We need to take care of the ball.”

Finland's Captain Jukka Lehtonen: “It was an awesome win against the USA. Sivula played well. This was an excellent game for him. Every area of the game was OK, not great.”

U.S. coach Alan Knipe: “Congratulations to Finland for a well-played match. They put good pressure on us with their serving. We need to pass the ball better. I thought they took good swings in transition and we didn’t.”

Finland's coach Mauro Berruto: “I have been forced to congratulate our opponent the last four times in a row. This was a victory against one of the best teams in the world. Passing was key. We had problems in our last match with passing. We got better. Our sideout was smoother.”
