China head coach: "My team's top priority in this championship is to finish top eight. We finished 13th place. It's a let-down."

China head coach Wang Jiaqin: “We played with our normal skills today. I’m not satisfied with my girls’ performance, anyway. They are not quick as usual. Slovakia played well with good reception. Two key players in my team – Duan Fang is sick and Liu Mingjuan suffers a foot injury. I think the standard of participating teams in this World Championship is very high. I’m very disappointed with our performance. I had initially targeted that my team would finish top eight in the championship.”

Captain Yao Di: “I’m not satisfied despite the win. However, I think we already did our best.”

Slovakia head coach Marek Hencek: “We play good volleyball. I’m happy with the way my girls played in the match against China. Our two key spikers including Tatiana Crkonova are sick. I think we played our best today.”

Captain Jaroslava Smatanikova: “China played very well. We also did the same, but what’s different is that we lost the match.”
