Bulagria's coach Prandi says: "We took what we needed"

Bulgarians are superior, Korea's coach Shin confessed
Bulgaria's captain Vladimir Nikolov: "We are all happy of this victory. We had some pressure in the beginning from the obligation to win at all means, but after the middle of the set we were already controlling the situation. We are better and stronger team and this was easy to be seen. There is a visible class difference in our favour. Congratulations to Korea and their brave play."

Bulgaria's coach
Silvano Prandi: "It was a good match today, not the best but good enough. We experienced some problems in the beginning. We failed some receptions and have trouble with passing. We have to improve our block and to commit less mistakes - we made 17 and this has to be changed. At the end 3-0 is a good result for us as we continue following our goals. Hopefully we will play better tomorrow."

Korea's captain Tae Woong Choi: "In the first set we had a chance to win but we couldn't catch it. That made effect on our play afterwise. I am sorry that we could not do a better performance today but hopefully tomorrow we will.

Korea's coach Chi Yong Shin: "The Bulgarian team is superior to us in every element, especially in height and block. There is a kind of limitation between the eastern and western teams. I mean physically. We need to improve our play and stay with honour after tomorrow's match."
