"The difference was made in the number of unforced errors", Bulgarian captain says

Bulgaria celebrate the second victory in Apeldoorn (NED)

Bulgaria's coach Prandi Silvano: “We played intelligent Volleyball and had more patience than the Netherlands did. On top of that, we did not make a lot of errors, especially not after the 20 points”

Bulgaria's captain Vladimir Nikolov: “I definitely did not expect to win two matches in straight sets here. We are still growing as a team, our preparation was quite short. The difference today was the number of unforced errors on Dutch side.”

The Netherlands' coach Peter Blangé: "Above 20 points you do not get any presents from the Bulgarians, so you have to enforce the win yourself. We did not succeed in that this weekend in Apeldoorn. Patience is important, the rallies in male Volleyball get longer, a characteristic of modern male Volleyball.”

The Netherlands' captain Rob Bontje: “We did not push through at the decisive moments. We played quite well, but Bulgaria was simply better and made just a few unforced errors.”
