Team German enthusiastic about comeback

Stuttgart, Germany, June 5, 2010 – Team Germany is very satisfied with its comeback in the World League in Stuttgart, Germany.

German coach Raúl Lozano: I am really satisfied with the whole team. Almost more about the team’s performance than about the victory. Last Germany played in the World League in 2003 and therefore only two or three players were experienced in this kind of tournament.

German captain Björn Andrae: All players of our starting six never played in the World League before. We played very aggressive and our performance was impressive.

Coach Daniel Castellani: Germany played a very good match. It was hard for us to gain control in the game because Germany was playing with a good rhythm and a lot of pressure.

Poland captain Piotr Gruszka: It is sad that we lost the game because it was the first game in this World League series and of courses we would prefer to start winning. The German team played good sports and we have to concentrate a lot more.
