Bulgaria still fighting for Final Round spot

The Bulgarian block did its job as the home side claimed victory over Korea on Saturday in Varna
Varna, Bulgaria, June 26, 2010 - Bulgaria overcame Korea 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-16) in front of 4000 spectators in their Pool A 2010 FIVB World League match on Saturday in Varna.

Korea came out strong in the first set with Sung Min Moon helping push the visitors to an early lead. Despite a number of errors from the hosts, the Koreans couldn't keep the advantage powerful attacks from the Bulgarian offense saw them win the opening set.

The Bulgarian block minimized
their mistakes in the second and their attacking strength saw them dominate their opponents to take a 2-0 lead.

Korea's momentum was halted in the third before Bulgaria finished off the Asian side following a number of clinical spikes to see out the match.

Korea remain winless in Pool A as Bulgaria continue to chase a Final Round spot in a tight group.

The two sides will meet again in the weekend's final match at 4pm GMT on Sunday.
