Team profile

The Tunisian Youth Girls National Team showed great fighting spirit at the last African competition, where they were crowned continental champions. Beating Algeria and Egypt at the tournament was further evidence that Tunisia is one of the elite Volleyball nations in Africa.

Our participation at the World Championship is a very good opportunity to improve our level and to gain experience against taller teams.

The team prepared very well for this competition and we hope to obtain a good result.

 
Coach profile

Tunisia head coach Slim Ben Kaid is married with two children. He earned degrees in Physical Education and Sport Master in 1989, and earned a 3rd degree coaching license in 1987.

Slim Ben Kaid has been with the national team since 2003 and participated in two world championships, one in Macau in 2005 and the other in Mexico in 2007.
