The Czech Republic

The first selection of this team was made in January 2001 and since then more than 60 players have been trialled and tested to make sure the best of the Czech Republic's youth is represented.

The build up has been impressive for this team. In 2002 victory at an International Tournament of Olympic Hopes in Slovakia was followed preceeded by a second place finish in the European Youth qualification tournament in January.

It was at this tournament the coach Valimír Pech started to work hard with the team to make sure they are ready to go in Poland.
