Kuo Mao Chaun has an extensive Volleyball coaching career having been the head coach of San Hsin Home Economy & Commercial Sr. High School girls team for almost two decades solidify the team's position as one of the top three teams in the country.

During that time has also had roles with the Chinese Taipei senior women's side and the junior women's team, leading them to mixed success in the Asian and World Championships, including a seventh place finish at the 2001 Girl's Youth Championship.
