Serbian Team with more experience

Issei Maeda, Captain of Japan: ”Our condition was not bad but we did not manage to win the game. We will do our best in the next two matches. Some of our players were probably a bit nervous."

Aleksandar Atanasijevic, Captain of Serbia: ”It was a difficult match. We have shown more experience and strength than the Japanese team, but I would like to thank them as it has been a real good match. We got two points therefore we are now looking forward to the next two matches against the US and Iran.”

Masafumi Oura, Coach of Japan: ”We lost but we did our best. We will be now looking forward to the next two matches."

Milan Djuricic, Coach of Serbia: ”It has been a difficult game, more than what we were actually expecting."
