Egypt with the better blockers

 Second victory for Egypt with a 3-1 (25-15, 25-22, 22-25, 25-21) against Puerto Rico. Already in the first set (25-15), the Egyptians made it clear which element of today would be their best weapon. In the block they made six points, Puerto Rico, only came to a point. This difference came through throughout the whole match. At the end of the record was 13-5 for the Egyptian team.

The impact of the differences were not as clear (7-5 to Puerto Rico). But the number of unforced errors spoke clearly against Puerto Rico: 30-21. Only in the third set, the Egyptians had more problems and could not dominate. Puerto Rico won the set with 25-22.

In the end, the teams were in the offensive balance by just one point separated: 50 successful attacks in Puerto Rico, one less for Egypt. The game was stopped by two attacks of the Egyptian Ahmed Mohamed on 24 and 25 Point (25-21).

Best scorer for Egypt was once again captain Omar Hassan with 19 points (15 attacks, two blocks, two serves). Three points was less Moustafa Idris (16). For Puerto Rico Ramon Burgos and Steven Morales came on 15 points each.
