Iran defeated Algeria in
warm up
Algiers, Algeria, August 20 - Iran Boys U-19 Volleyball team
was the first team to arrive to Algeria to compete in the
2005 Boys U-19 World Championship due to start in Algeria 24
August. The team who was the Silver medalist in the same
competition four years ago in Egypt 2001, played a friendly
match Saturday in Harcha Hall in the Algerian capital
against the organizers where they had a big victory 3-0
(25-11, 25-19, 25-22).
"We came here to compete for the title but our way will not
easy in presence of the big forces specially Brazil and
Russia," said Iran head Coach, Ahmad Poorkashiyan after the
friendly match. "I think we have to work hard to achieve our
goals" He added. |
