Fascinating clash between Italy and France in playoffs
 Algiers,
Algeria, August 27, 2005 - A fascinating clash between Italy
and France will feature as the most important meeting in the
play off round of the Ninth Boys U-19 World Championship on
Sunday here in Algiers and Oran. The two big European teams
will meet in the play off seeding as both teams ended the
first round top of their preliminary pools. In the same
seeding the defending champions Brazil will meet Slovakia
searching for a new victory towards their seventh title in
history, both matches in Harcha hall in Algiers.
In the play off elimination round eight teams will struggle
to keep their hopes alive in the competition with Bulgaria
playing Russia and Egypt meeting Poland in Boutlelis Hall in
Oran, while Harcha Hall will feature another two clashes;
India vs. Argentina in what is described as the meeting of
the black horses and Korea vs. Iran.
The qualifiers of the play off elimination will join the
four teams of the seeding round where a drawing of lots will
determine their way of starting for the quarterfinals until
the final.
