FIVB World Grand Prix 2007

Coaches

Yevgeniy Sivkov

For the national coach of Kazakhstan it is important for his team to be in the World Grand Prix:  "Participation in the 2007 Grand Prix is a debut for the national team of Kazakhstan. If our team wins 1 or 2 games in each tour (week) it would already be a great achievement. The goal of any team is to qualify to the final round, and we will train in the best sports halls of Kazakhstan and Europe, taking part in international tournaments. We aim to succeed in the Asian Senior Women’s Championship in Thailand and qualify for the 2007 World Cup in order to get a ticket to the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. Key players in 2006 were Y. Pavlova, O. Nassedkina, X. Ilyuchshenko, N. Rykova, O. Kubassevich and K. Ishimtseva. We hope that they will be on the best form in 2007 as well."
