China beat Dominican Republic by 3:1

China beat Dominican Republic 3-1 (25-22, 25-20, 20-25, 25:22) – duration 1:47

Match # 22

26-Aug, start time:17:05  end time:18:52 – Attendance: 3,700

City: Macau; Hall: Macau Forum

Rodriguez Andino de Dionicio, Cosiri (Dominican Republic captain)

It was a difficult match for us to play against the Olympic champion – China. We were able to correct many errors of yesterday and we took advantage in correcting these errors.  Our reception, and contra attack

We are getting better day by day and we know it will be a big match tomorrow against the  USA team.

Wang, Yimei (China player#1)

We had a full preparation today, but we still had many faults especially myself. And during the game, we were not stable and too many ups and downs moments. We won the game harder than what we expected.

Cruz, Beato Miguel (Dominican Republic coach)

It was tough to play against the Olympic champion. Contrary to yesterday, we feel satisfactory. The players played a good match. We played well in quick attack and defense. Although China Team as they played fast and had massive changes in their forms. However, we could still adjust our blocking and defense in getting more points. The players had a different attitude towards the game today than the game yesterday. We believed that our team will have better attitude and spirit in competing with the Americans tomorrow.

Chen, Zhonghe (China coach)

We saw that the Dominican Republic has improved a lot in these recent years. They played with their own characters especially in reception. We could win today due to the quick change in our forms of playing while the Dominican Team could not get along with it. They failed to block our quick attach and moreover, the Dominican Republic had made too many faults which led them a great loss of points. However, they were good at serving and reception in which we were weak in that.
