Head Coach Jon Uriarte: Korea came with a traditional pattern of play, and their style worked well, but we were prepared for it. They showed us their excellent reception and strong set-up play, and therefore we suffered in the first set. By playing with a young group, the most important thing is how you focus on each game, and how you can use your chances. In this game, when we had a chance we were able to take it, and this took us to victory.
Lucas Chavez: We won today because we began to play better from the second set. Korea made too many mistakes and that made it easier for us to win.
KOREA
Head Coach Yoo Jung-Tak: Today our players felt strong pressure that they had to win this game, so this mental problem had a bad influence on our game.
Moon Sung-Min: In the first set we were able to make strong attacks, and did not make many mistakes, so the first set went very well for us. But from the second set we made mistakes in blocking and our service was not strong enough. That made it too easy for Argentina to counter-attack. We also had chances to fight back against Argentina but could not make the most of them.
