Portugal Coach: Finland played good game tactically

Finland coach Daniel Castellani at the press conference on Thursday

Finland coach Daniel Castellani: "I am happy for the win, but even more happy with the change in the play after the second set. We made mistakes in the first two sets, the players and me also in tactics. Then players started to have more concentration in the game and they played the last sets clever volleyball."

Finland captain Mikko Esko: "Today it was really difficult for us. Portugal was ready to fight in the beginning, but we were not. We need to start matches better. Portugal opposite player Valdir Sequeira attacked very well. After two sets we improved our game and I am happy with the end result."

Portugal coach Juan Diaz: "We started very well, very focused. After the 10 minutes break between second and third set the team started to play differently. I don't know why. In third and fourth set we were bad, but in the last set it was a little bit better. Finland played good game tactically."

Portugal captain Flavio Cruz: "We were very focused to this match. It was very important for us. In the beginning we did what we wanted. I donĀ“t know what happened after the first two sets."
