Press Conference in Suwon Gym, Korea on June 14, 2009

Argentina's head coach and captain at the press conference

Argentina coach Weber Javier: "Today Argentina and Korea fought each other in an equally matched game just as yesterday. The two teams made many substitutions and used many strategies and tactics at critical moments. But our team stayed cool. I am very satisfied by the performance of my players. Korea showed better defense compared to yesterday especially in the 4th and 5th sets, but my players did their job perfectly. That is the main reason for today's victory."

Argentina captain Rodrigo Daniel Quiroga: "Almost all our players participated in today's match and our organization and unity were better than yesterday. Today's match was highlighted by the tactics of our head coach."

Korea coach Kim Ho-Chul: "After the match yesterday, we analyzed the Argentines' playing styles and patterns and tried to apply what we learned today. We started off better than yesterday, and we had many chances to dominate the Argentines.  However, our defense did not keep up with the Argentines' powerful attacks and serves. When we find a way to compensate for our weak points like serve receptions, we will be able to show more enthusiastic and more aggressive Volleyball."

Moon Sung-Min: "Compared to yesterday, I failed to make the kills when I really should have. My serve reception and blocks are still not satisfactory. Also, we made many errors, and that made all the difference."
