Japan errors gift Bulgaria win

Bulgaria celebrate as they clinch their third win of the 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League over Japan in Varna
Varna, Bulgaria, June 5, 2011 - Bulgaria saw off Japan in straight sets (25-14, 25-17, 25-19) in their second 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League match in Varna on Sunday as the second weekend begins to draw to close.

There was no trace of yesterdays fluctuations as the world No.7 took advantage of Japan's 24 errors to seal the win.

There was also no sign of yesterdays hesitation in the hosts performance as eight blocks helped them take advantage in the first set.

Radostin Stoychev and his team had done their homework to neutralize opposite spiker Kunihiro Shimizu and as a result the visitors had trouble dealing with a defiant block and devastating attack.

Japan coach Tatsuya Usami tried a new combination in the third as he tried to salvage something from the match but his side failed to raise their game as the hosts romped to victory.

Bulgaria now travel to Russia for their first home match of the 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League while Japan face Germany.
