Suwon, South Korea, June 14, 2009 - Argentina exacted revenge on South Korea for its loss in the opener of the 2009 FIVB World League with a come-from-behind five set victory over the hosts on Sunday. Argentina won 3-2 (21-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-20, 15-12).
Korea won the first and the third sets, while Argentina won the second and fourth. Tied at 2-2, Argentina was just a bit better than the Koreans in the tiebreaker as they pounded the ball on the court. The Koreans managed to tie the score 10-10 but Korea’s ace attacker Moon crossed the attack line as he jumped for a back-row attack, and Korea seemed to lose its rhythm and never recovered, losing the set 12-15.
