France face double date with destiny

Philippe Blain, the France coach, has his hands full this week
Pau, France, 27 June, 2011 - Beaten twice by Cuba at the weekend, France go into the final weekend of the 2011 FIVB World League with only five points and knowing they must beat Korea if they want to avoid a play-off to retain their place in next year’s competition. Out of contention for a place in the Final Round, Korea will play without pressure.

France coach Philippe Blain has decided to keep faith with the same team for both matches against Korea, hoping they will find the resolve to clinch their first win at home. The teams, who both trained yesterday at the Palais des Sports de Pau, will play the first match at 18:00GMT in Pau on Wednesday and the second game at 18:30GMT in Boulazac on Friday.
