The fight of the second place continues

Finland and Poland will fight again on Saturday.

Tampere, Finland, July 10, 2009 – The fight of the second place in the pool D and possible wild card to Final Six continues on Saturday in Tampere Ice Hockey Arena. Finland won on Friday 3-1 and wants another win from the second match.

"It has always in this year's World League happened that the second match is better for us than the first match. I hope I can say the same on Saturday, but we must play the match first", says Finnish Head coach Mauro Berruto.

"We need more confidence to our side out attack. We must also play better in service."

The second place in the pool could also mean to the Finnish team a place in the Final Six for the first time.

"I don't think the Final Six at all. It is not only in our own hands. To think of the future means that we forget easily the present", says Berruto.
