Ueta wants improvement from Japan

Russia and Japan will clash again on Saturday in Ufa
Ufa, Russia, May 27, 2011 – Russian coach Vladimir Alekno is expecting Japan to bounce back after their loss in the opening 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League match against Russia. The two teams are set to clash again on Saturday in Ufa.

Japanese coach Tatsuya Ueta is hoping his team cuts down on their mistakes and improve the quality of their game.

“Our team needs waking up after the break we had. All the Russian players are dangerous opponents and we should be ready for a battle tomorrow,” Ueta said.

Alekno said he was satisfied with the first match, but wants an even better performance on Saturday.

“Japan will come determined to struggle, so we are going to prepare for that and be in great spirits tomorrow,” he said.
