   Profile
Mitic was born in Veliko Gradiste, Serbia, and has excellent physical qualities. He was able to choose which position he wants to play, and he started as an opposite, then played as blocker, and the last few seasons he settled on the setter position.

His father Miodrag was a famous national team player and winner of the Championship title in the former Yugoslavia. He inherited much of his talent and logically he made his first volleyball move to his home team, VC "VGSK” from Veliko Gradiste.

He played in all categories of the national team and the invitation for the senior team found him playing for VC “Crvena Zvezda” from Belgrade, winning two Cup titles in the process. He has great potential and has already played in the World League. His arsenal include a rather difficult service and excellent block, with of course a great overview of the playing court. He played 16 matches in the World League in two editions of the competition.
