  Dmitry Ilinykh started his professional career for the second team of the famous Belgorod club - “Metaloinvest” (Stary Oskol), but after two seasons of solid performances he was moved into the main team – “Lokomotiv” (Belgorod), where he has played a key role ever since. On the international stage, he won the 2009 Universiade in Belgrad, the 2006 CEV Junior European Championship and the 2005 FIVB Youth World Championship. Ilinukh is considered to be one of the most promising young Russian volleyball players.
