Profile
Ferdinand Tille was first called up to the national team in 2008 and quickly became the established libero by 2009. As if knowing no fear Tille was facing difficult opponents and satisfied in reception and defence and was favoured instead of the experienced Markus Steuerwald. Things are also going well with his club Generali Haching who he helped take to the German Cup this year. In the World League he seemed fearless and proved himself worthy in defense and reception, likewise at the World Championships. At the end he received the “best libero” award.
