  23-year old Jari Tuominen came to the national team two years ago and played his first international match during the 2009 World League in Venezuela and Brazil.

Tuominen is 200cm tall and a universal player. His club in Finland is Vammalan Lentopallo (VaLePa).

Last season he played for Monza, Italy, where Mauro Berruto was coach. This season he played in Turkey for Ankara.

Jari´s brother Toni is an ex-national team setter.
