  Sebastian Schwarz was without doubt one of the discoveries in the national team in 2009 and 2010. The high jumping wing spiker stood up to fellow competition and was playing as a regular at the World League and World Championship. The 25-year-old, who won the triple of Championship, Cup and Champions League with VfB Friedrichshafen in 2007, won the German Cup once more in 2010 with his team Generali Haching. His brilliant and constant performance in the World League was a key factor for his participation in Italy’s first league with Perugia during the 2010/11 season.
