  This is the first time for Sauli will join the national team group. He has played four seasons in the Finnish league with Isku-Volley Tampere.

Sauli has won league bronze in 2009 and 2011. He also took silver during the 2008 cup.

Sauli was named as best male junior in Finland in 2008. His older brother Saku also plays in the Finnish league.
