|
Universal player Matti Hietanen has lots of good memories from volleyball, but he thinks that his first summer in the World League and the matches in Brazil in front of 20,000 spectators is the best.
He played in Padova in 2005-2006, and then in Avignon, France before returning to Italy. for Mantova. In 2010 he played for PAOK in Greece and then again returned to Italy for Perugia.
He has 142 national team matches and is 199cm tall.
Hietanen was an all star player in the Finnish League 2005 and the best boys' junior player 2001.
His big sister Maarit has also played for the women’s national team.
