Eder was a FIVB Volleyball Boys' Youth World champion in 2001, and won the Junior South American Championship in 2002. He was also part of the second placed team at the FIVB Volleyball Men's Junior World Championship in 2003. Playing with Cimed (SC), he won Liga Nacional in 2005, and the Superliga in the 2005/06 season, when he was named best blocker. In 2007, he participated in the World League when Brazil won their seventh title, and he was second place in the America’s Cup, the same position achieved by the team the following season. In 2009, Eder helped Brazil to the gold medal in all three tournaments of the season: the World League, the World Grand Champions Cup and the South American Championship.
