Gustavo Endres won Olympic gold medal in 2004 in Athens, and the silver medal four years later, in Beijing. The middle-blocker has also won the World Championships twice (2002 and 2006), the World League six times (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007) and the World Cup once (2007). Gustavo has two titles in the World Grand Champions Cup (1997 and 2005) and six South American titles (1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007). When he was playing for the Brazilian junior team, he was South American champion, in 94. After several years in Italy, Gustavo returned to Brazil in 2009 to play for Pinheiros/SKY.
