Middle blocker Andrew Hein (Carol Stream, Ill.) played on the U.S. Men’s World University Games teams in 2003, ’05 and ’07, winning bronze medals in 2003 and ’07. Played for Pepperdine University in 2003-06 and was named an AVCA All-American in 2006.

 

In 2007, he helped the U.S. Men win the silver medal at the Pan American Games and in 2008 he played on the team that won the Pan American Cup. He also competed on the America’s Cup team.

 

He was born in 1984 in Hinsdale, Ill. His parents are Ronald and Ann Hein.
