Thiago was one of the best players in the young Brazilian teams, since 2002, when he was Youth South American Championship champion. In 2003, was champion in the Youth World Championship. In the next year, won the Junior South America Championship and, in 2005, was the second place in the Junior World Championship. In the 2004 Liga Nacional, he won the title played at On Line (RS). In the last season, he was playing for Unisul/Nexxera (SC). In 2007, he participated in the team that won the World League 2007, and he was second place at the America’s Cup, repeating the position conquered in the following year. In the 07/08 season he won Brazilian Superliga for Cimed (SC).
