Germany's captain Bjorn Andrae: "First I would like to congratulate Polish team. We started pretty well and played very good, especially in the first two sets. Unfortunately we made too many mistakes and let Poland to back in the match. It wasn't our best game, but we hope to play definitely better during the World Championships."
Germany's coach Raul Lozano: "Today's game was quite similar to yesterday's. Especially in the first and second set that was very equal. Then Poland shifted into higher gear and beat us. They played definitely better than on Thursday, and of course better than we played. I congratulate them because they deserved this win."
Poland's captain Pawel Zagumny: "We controlled the situation in the first set and went up until the last moments of this partial and we lost it. In the second set we saw the opposite situation. Germany led all the way, but we managed to overcome them and clinch the win. In the last two sets we showed good physical preparation and the substitutions gave great outcome.
Poland's coach Daniel Castellani: "We played definitely better than yesterday. I made a lot of changes and I'm very happy that all the players that appeared on the floor made a contribution in this win. There is also another thing I would like to emphasize. To play in front of such a great public is something amazing and we're all very happy that we were able to reward the fans with the win."
