Cubans impose their law on Polish soil

Cuban coach Orlando Samuels Blackwood had a lot of reasons to smile after two important wins in Poland

Poland's captain Pawel Zagumny: "It was a very bad weekend for us. We had to fight with a rival that is playing on a very high level right now. We had some problems in serving area once again and Cuba showed their dominance during the endings of sets."

Poland's coach Daniel Castellani: "Cuba played even better than yesterday and I would like to congratulate them. I can't be happy with the score, however I see some good points in our game. We were much more aggressive. It was not enough to get the win, but I think we go in the right direction."

Cuba's captain Robertlandy Simon Aties: "It was a very important win for us. We are just one step from the Finals and will do everything possible to get there. We showed we can play really good and we all hope to show even better Volleyball in the Final Six. Although we realize that there is still room to improve. Poland lost both matches, but everyone knows they can be very dangerous later on. This time Cuba was better and we are very happy."

Cuba's coach Orlando Samuels Blackwood: "Both teams played much better and I'm very happy that my team took second win. The Polish side looked definitely more relaxed and it was visible on the floor. We are in our best shape right now and it's very promising having in mind Final Six in Argentina."
