Italian captain Vermiglio says: “I think that this defeat will help us to improve”

Italy lost to Serbia in a five-set thriller on Friday
Valerio Vermiglio, Italy's captain – "We have played a good first set, then we lose a bit of concentration and to recover began difficult.  I think that this defeat will help us to improve."

Bojan Janic, Serbia's captain - "We play always without stress because we don’t have anything to lose. In this case the result has been good for us as the other matches of this competition."

Andrea Anastasi, Italy's coach – "I’m disappointed because we didn’t react in the decisive moments of the match. Compliments to Serbia for this important success."

Igor Kolakovic, Serbia's coach - "I’m very happy with this victory. The team played a good game especially in the last decisive points. I’m happy also with our block during the whole match."
